The Uniguest remote control (S1) is a programmable remote designed for use with various devices, supporting multiple communication protocols. The remote also supports setting different addresses for LG devices. Setting multiple addresses for LG devices is especially useful in situations where there are multiple TVs in the same room, allowing each TV to be controlled independently.
- Press and hold the RED Button for at least 2 seconds, then press 0-8 while still holding the RED button.
- The remote will blink 3 times, indicating that the remote has been re-programmed.
- Press and hold the BLUE Button, then press one of the following numbers to set the desired address:
- 0-1 for Address 1
- 0-2 for Address 2
- 0-3 for Address 3
- 0-4 for Address 4
Address 1 is the default setting in the remote so its normally not needed to set this.
The S1 remote is not supported by Tizen TEP models.
- Press and hold the RED Button for at least 2 seconds, then press 0-1-0 on the remote.
- The remote will blink 3 times, indicating that the remote has been re-programmed.
- Press and hold the BLUE Button for at least 2 seconds, then press 0-1 while still holding the BLUE button.
Samsung does not support other addresses than address 1.
- Make sure you press and hold the buttons simultaneously and do not release until the remote confirms the action.
- If the remote doesn’t respond, restart the process from the beginning and ensure you are holding the buttons correctly.
